That's a great loop you went on there, not too sure about the camping part. I kinda sorta did that trip once, flew to Chicago (Cubs game!) then drove all the way up through Wisconsin, Apostle Islands, Keeweenaw Peninsula, across the UP, Mackinaw, Traverse City. Damn, that was a lot of driving.
