We have a gate up at the house so the cats can have a sanctuary where the dog can't get to them. The cats will come out and hang out at the bottom of the stairs in the morning. When I come down they leap over the gate in anticipation of me following them into the laundry where I will then feed them. Those cats are really starting to piss me off.
