As you can see here the jump in the late 90's of the single season homerun record is unprecedented (excepting, of course, the original jump created by Babe Ruth at the beginning of the homerun era). It's almost like they had outside help. Maybe it was God?

I see your point and I understand how the numbers point to steroid use. I think a larger indicator of steroid use is Barry Bonds' gigantic head. I just don't think the record can be taken away. History will remember it for what it was. The Hall of Fame is not the wart free Hall of Fame. It represents the history of Baseball, warts and all.
