Like millions of others, I shamefully deserted salon.com when they started charging a subscriptoin fee like all decent magazines do. Since I expect everything on the internet to be free I have contributed to the downfall of a pretty darn good magazine. They have an article about the Mekons, whom I love. Maybe I should subscribe...
